Chesterfield came up against the moneybags team of League Two for the second time in a week when near neighbours Notts County were the visitors for a behind-closed-door practice game at the Spireites Warminster Road training ground, Sheffield.
It was a chance to get match practice for squad players on both sides, as well as, a couple of unnamed trialists and youth team players.
There were also some high-profile spectators including our own manager John Sheridan and the Magpies director of football Sven-Goran Erikdsson.

Chesterfield opened the scoring with a first-half sizzler when Scott Boden unleased an unstoppable shot into the top corner.
Although Notts County equalised later in the game the Spireites were always pushing forward and squandered some golden chances to go take the lead even in the closing stages.
