Chesterfield will be hoping 'third time lucky' is the case come Saturday, when the Spireites face the long journey north to face top of the League side Darlington. Having already lost to the Quakers both in the League and the Cup this season, Dave Bentley will be hoping his young guns can continue their current good form which sees them unbeaten in their last five League matches.
The Spireites attack have been in impressive form scoring 11 goals in their last five matches but the backline needs to pick up their game, conceding five goals in the same period.
Darlington are an attacking team that like to score for fun and have scored an average of 2.3 goals per game this season. The Quakers had a difficult match last weekend and could manage the one goal in their away victory over Bradford City.
Chesterfield might be without goalkeeper Matthew Malak, who is likely to stay at home with the first team, with Scott Webb expected to take up the number one jersey again.
Kick off is 12 noon at Darlington
