Chesterfield had a behind-closed-doors practice game against Doncaster Rovers at their Cantley training ground, which consisted of three 30 minute periods.

It was an opportunity for squad members, youth team players, some first teamers on both sides, as well as a trialist or two to get some match action and a number of positional changes were made through the game.

Doncaster Rovers scored in each segment to win the training session overall 4 nil.

Chesterfield, whose best efforts came from Lloyd Kerry, Scott Boden and Val Teixeira, found the Donny keeper in sparkling form.
