Chesterfield's young charges twice came from behind in an entertaining game to earn another home draw in their final match of the season at a bitterly cold and windy Warminster Road.

The Blues began promisingly as a Michael Bearder volley just went wide, but fell behind when Rotherham opened the scoring from a corner. Jordan Bowery equalised after a long solo run via a shot under the 'keepers body, however the Millers again took the lead in first half injury time with a header which just went over Dan Whatsize.

Dave Bentley's lads should have wrapped up the game in the second half when good chances were missed by Josh Lowe and Adam Smith, but after Lloyd Darikwa was brought down Michael Bearder scored from the resulting penalty to earn a point. Centre-backs Ross Burns and Richie Holmes both had excellent games and Ben Algar at left-back also caught the eye.

CFC: Whatsize, Bearder, Algar, Smith, Holmes, Burns, Clay, Freestone (Adcock 72), Bowery, Darikwa (Davies 75), Lowe.

Goals: CFC - Bowery 40, Bearder 65 (pen), RUFC: 22, 45+1.
