Now an established pro after coming through the youth set up at Saltergate. Jamie's a tall, elegant full back or midfielder from Cornwall who came to the attention of the Club when his Grandad, a Chesterfield resident, recommended him for a trial, which was successful, and he was awarded a scholarship. Was a key member of the league winning Youth Team six seasons ago. Bagged his first ever brace, both from the penalty spot, to beat Notts County in 2009 but soon after that picked up a cruciate injury in training and missed the rest of the season. Returned to the reserves in November 2010 and the first team in February 2011, 16 months after his previous game. Went on loan to Crewe at the end of 2011.
