Combative, box to box midfielder signed from Bolton Wanderers in March 2004 after spending two months on loan with The Spireites. Was a youngster at Raith Rovers and moved to the Reebok for a substantial fee after less than 10 minutes first team experience as a 17 year old. Bagged a few goals over the last few seasons, including the Goal of the Season winner against Man City in 2006-07 and Grimsby on 2008-09 plus he scored Saltergate's last ever goal after 139 years of football there. Battled to beat testicular cancer a couple of years ago, he has played over 250 league games for the club.
