Joined on a month's loan from Colchester at the start of October. Formerly in non-league football with Morecambe. He played for them when they beat Chesterfield in the FA Cup in 2002 and also won England 'C' honours whilst with The Shrimps. Went on to score the goal that earned Rochdale a successful shoot-out and a place in the Play Off Final in 2008 but he missed the final after being red carded in extra time. Hit a hat-trick at Saltergate for Rochdale. A six-figure fee took him to Colchester
