Signed for John Sheridan for the second time in the summer of 2010. He initially teamed up with Spireites manager when he was at Oldham, where he was a regular for two seasons after he'd spent a similar length spell at Port Vale. Began as a youngster at Manchester United but didn't make the first team squad. He made his breakthrough at Macclesfield Town for whom he made over 200 appearances in 5 years. Has an eye for goal, scoring 15 times last season, 8 of them from the penalty spot and he bagged a hat-trick against Hereford in August last season. Was Match Magazine's Player of the Month in November and he made it into the PFA League Two Team of the Season in 2010-11.
