Signed in 2008 after a successful trial. Was a schoolboy and a pro at Manchester United before moving to Macclesfield Town, initially on loan. Played in their great escape from relegation under Paul Ince. Had a successful spell on loan at Rochdale for whom he played at Wembley in the play-off final. Remembered at Macc for receiving a red card in a cup tie at Chelsea after he upended Andrei Shevchenko. Won the Young Spireites' Player of the Year Award in his first season with the club and has been Supporters' Player of the Year for the last two seasons. PFA League Two keeper in their all-star team last season. Signed a new two year deal in the summer having been ever present last term. .
