Derek - We've drawn Manchester City at home?
It's a great draw for us, to get a Premiership side in the cup, here, and we've certainly got as good chance.
Was it on the players' minds against Tranmere?
I don't think so. It was an all-round poor performance today. That goal just before half time deflated us and gave them a lift, while a few of us felt tired in the second half. We didn't play well as a team, though, and that's what cost us the game.
The second goal killed off a brighter start to the second half?
We were still in the game at 1-0 but that killed us off. It was a disappointing performance but we'll try and put it behind us. A few of the boys felt tired and that's what let us down.
Is that the price we pay for getting through on Wednesday?
We'll look forward to the City game but prepare for the next one; hopefully we can do better and get back on the winning trail.
