WE SHOULD GO THERE EXPECTING TO WIN

Oxford will be a different sort of game to the Villa one?

I hope it'll be a good workout again. We need to be a little bit better in that last third. For periods in the second half on Wednesday we didn't work the ball quickly enough and we lost situations when they looked good around that eighteen yard box. We need to be better and hopefully the Oxford game will give us that opportunity.

Will you try to play the starting line-up for Bournemouth?

At the moment the line-up depends solely on injuries, on how the players are feeling. Blatherwick missed Villa because he felt a little bit stiff. The others are getting better; I need to look at the whole squad and try and get them fit. Caleb got half a game against Villa; he'd been out for the last ten days and it showed a bit in terms of his performance and he looked a bit off the pace.

Given Oxford's disastrous season last season, Chesterfield will be expected to win this one.

We should go there expecting to win, but I know Jim Smith; his teams have always had quite a bit of quality. Its important that we try and get back on track after Villa. We've got to be better at set pieces and better in the last third.
