Well Jamie how's this all come about?

O'HaraI heard that Chesterfield were interested in me and the manager came down and watched me play on Tuesday. He must have been impressed with me to bring me here. So hopefully I can get some experience and do well. It's a big thing for me to come here and I am really looking forward to playing now.

You are here for ninety three days at the moment but that could be extended?

That's right if all goes well and everybody's happy than it could go until the end of the season

Tell us about your career so far

I started at Chelsea. I was there for three years then I moved to Arsenal because the Chelsea training ground was too far away. I was then at Arsenal for five years but before I went full time they brought in a lot of players and I decided to go to Tottenham. I have played regularly for Tottenham and have played around twenty games for England at U16, U17 and U18 levels.

So at Arsenal you would know Alex Bailey?

Ye,  I used to train with Alex at Arsenal and he was a good friend so its good he's here and he's shown me around and its nice to know someone.

What are you hoping to achieve

The main thing is to get some games under my belt and Chesterfield are doing well this season and the managers put some faith in me so we will see what happens and hopefully we can push on for promotion.

So what do you know about Chesterfield

Since I heard of the interest I have been on the website a lot looking around at the players and match reports.

Have you been on the message board?

No not yet but I am sure my family will they love doing things like that

Don't believe everything you read!

I'le try not to but hopefully I won't get too much stick

What sort of player are you?

I am left footed and I class myself as a bit of a playmaker really.  I see myself as an attacking midfielder and like to get into the box and score some goals. But if we have to defend then I  am happy to do that and get up and down and go box to box.

What do you think will be the main difference between reserve and first team football?

I imagine it will be a lot quicker and I will have to be a lot sharper. I have not seen much League One football but I love my football and I have been keeping an eye on all the Leagues because I knew at some point I would be going on loan somewhere

What about your family?

Sadly my mum past away last year and she used to watch all my games.  My dad has never missed a game and, although it will be along way for him to come, he will be here watching all my games, he won't miss one. I also have a brother he's twenty three and he's into the ladies more than the football.

Does anything worry you about t he move?

I am worried that in the first minute I get kicked up in the air because at reserve level you are playing against players of your own age, or players coming back from injury.  This is the real world, and there are real things at stake and points to play for.

What about the transition to league football, some young pros don't manage it?

That can happen but I am just ready for it and to get involved.  Tottenham think I am ready for the real stuff and I am really chuffed that I will be wearing the number 23 shirt, the same as David Beckam. Hopefully I can impress. I just can't wait really

Well Jamie all the best and welcome to Saltergate
