WE'RE ALL ABOUT CHARACTER
Well Paul - a hat-trick - you must feel good about that?
Yes; its all about Colin Larkin, really. He was very unselfish, pulling it back for me. He wanted me to get a hat-trick, so that was good!
How many times have you got a hat-trick before?
Its my first one! I've always got two goals, but its my first three. Then closest I'd come was at Tranmere, where I missed a penalty that would have got it.

Take us through the three goals
I had to hit the first one quickly because I had someone breathing down my neck. The keeper appeared to have all the angles covered btu it just snuck in inside the post. The second one, I decided to take it - Shane Nicholson wasn't on the pitch. I was going to let Mark Allott take it but he said "No, you take it," so I just stepped up and put it into the back of the net.
We'll gloss over the "goal of the season" from Kevan Hurst&
Well, that's what he's about, isn't it? He's a very, very good player and he's got a good future in the game.
Second half, did you expect Bristol to battle back?
We always thought they'd try, that there'd be ten, twenty minutes when they were knocking at our door, but we kept them out and then pressed on.
You played in a forward role unfamiliar for Chesterfield supporters - are you happy to be there?
Yes - whenever The Chief needs a rest I'm happy to step into those shoes and go up there. Chief's got seven goals already and Colin's done brilliantly.
It was good to bounce back from the midweek game.
That's what the squad's all about. We're all about character. We've improved on last season and hopefully we'll carry on improving. We're up to fourth now, and hopefully we can keep that going into the Christmas period.
