Barry another clean sheet for the Spireites
Yes it was a very difficult game for us. We worked exceptionally hard and kept our concentration, especially during long periods in the game where we did not have a lot to do. I thought we fully deserved the clean sheet.
Port Vale made it hard for us and we had some chances and were a little disappointed only to go in at the break with one goal.
A different story after the break for Port Vale and a key point in the match was probably your save from Mark Innes
They were striving for an equaliser and had us under a lot of pressure but thankfully when I was called upon, on that occasion, I got a knee on it and deflected it for a corner. Thankfully the Chief popped up and grabbed a second goal.
He could have had more goals?
I think everyone bar the Port Vale fans were wishing he would get a hat-trick but Mark Goodlad pulled off a couple of good saves.
The win sets you up nicely for the FA Cup replay with Orient?
Everyone in the dressing room is well up for that after their comments in the press so we are all well up for it.
Why what have they been saying?
They said we are a very ugly team.
Looking at you they may have a point?
No I'm fairly handsome (lol), but they say we are an ugly team to play against and when they come up here they will beat us easily. But we beg to differ

Ye ye the Gaffer mentioned it the other day but most of the lads had already seen it. We did not play the nicest football down there but we did a job and the critism I feel is unfair and we are all really looking forward to the game on Wednesday night
