Colin Larkin - Man of the Match again?

Colin LarkinYeah, its not bad. Personally, I don't think I deserved it today. I think I was poor, first half. Second half I got a bit better, but if I were to choose a man of the match it would have been Paul Hall today, or Derek Niven. I thought they were magnificent today. But the fans and the sponsors obviously see it different. Its nice to get these awards, but I've got my second goal now, and we've got a win again. That's the main thing.

Your equalising goal set Chesterfield on their way. . .

I didn't have any shots in the first half and I went in at half time thinking " If I get the ball and get through them, all I'm going to do is let one rip." Their lad backed off me a bit and let me turn, and I struck it well, into the bottom corner.

You're being a bit modest there - your turn left three defenders for dead. . .

I'll have to look back at the video. All I remember is the lad was behind me, I turned him and the only thing in my mind was to shoot. We scored three magnificent goals today because the other lads had the same thing in mind: Shoot!

It was a difficult game - they were a hard side to play?

We had about seven or eight shots in the first half without getting that finish. Over the full ninety we were the better side. Hopefully we can go away on Tuesday night full of confidence and do the same again.
