Dwayne Mattis spoke to Spireites Player after the 1-1 draw at the Moss Rose and initially spoke about the game before looking ahead to Tuesday night's trip to face his old team Walsall at the Banks Stadium in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
On Saturday's game Dwayne told Player "I think it was a fair result they had us on the back foot in the first half but we played a lot better in the second half. You are always disappointed though when you go one nil up and you don't come away with three points. We were playing well at that point and needed the second goal. They scored out of nothing really, but we are still unbeaten and will be going for the three points against Lincoln next weekend."
Dwayne then looked ahead to a return to the Banks Stadium and he continued "I was chuffed to bits with the draw against Walsall. I enjoyed my time there and left on good terms and am looking forward to see some friendly faces. They area good solid organised team and have Darren Bayfield as captain and some good young players alongside the likes of Jon Macken, Julian Gray on the left and Steve Jones on the right. Chris Hutchings likes his team to play good football like John Sheridan does so it should be a good game on a good pitch. It could go either way and we can go there with no fear as the pressure will be on them."
