Ian: I am delighted to be here
Ian Morris spoke to Spireites Player shortly after returning to the Spireites squad this time on a season long loan deal from his parent club Scunthorpe United
Ian told Player "The new stadium looks top of the range and the pitch looks lovely and I am delighted to be here. I just want to play a full season and play as many games as possible and see what happens at the end of the year. I wanted to stay here last season but Scunthorpe had other plans. So am I delighted everything sorted preseason so I can get to know the lads and get fit for the season ahead.
Ian continued "I had a couple of other offers but I fancied coming back here and the new signings make the squad look strong. I don't really know how Chesterfield didn't get promoted or into the play off's last season I think Gillingham will be the side that right up there. But during my career, I have enjoyed a promotion every other year so that sets things up nicely for the new season."
