"This is my first real big injury and the club have shown great faith in me and I'm really appreciative the support. I only played 13 or 14 games and it was cut short and I was fit and enjoying it."

"I'm looking forward to going to the B2 Net Stadium and I attended the player of the year awards and I was impressed and I felt sad and emotional about leaving Saltergate. The fans I was with sat me down at there seats in the main stand for a photograph."

"With regards to my injury I've had the screws taken out of my knee, I've started running and I will do more pre-season I'm hopeful that I will be fit by the start of the season. You may be puzzled that I've had screws in my knee but I've also had them in my ankle to balance as well. No-one wants to be injured and we had some bad luck last season and myself and Aaron are coming on well with our injuries and you will see us back fresh for the new season."
