"It's been a frustrating season so far and we have been very inconsistent. But we are not a million miles away from getting it right especially if we can eradicate a few defensive problems.

"We also can't dwell on our current home form yes it should be better but we can't dwell on that because if you do that it becomes a massive issue. But our home performances are improving and the Grimsby game should never have gone to penalties. Two silly goals cost us which seems to be the way things are going for us at the moment. If we can eradicate these little problems we will be a tough team to beat. We know exactly what we have to do and it's a case of putting in the hours on the training pitch."

Rob then went to explain that he missed last weekend's game against Wycombe due to his son going into hospital and having an operation and he felt it wasn't right to leave him.

Looking forward to Saturday's Saltergate clash against Rotherham he said

"We are all looking forward to it there is always a little bit of extra spice in local derby games.  Regardless of where you are in the League or what form you are in its all about the best team that turns up on the day. The crowd should be up for it as well, which like I say adds a little more spice to it as well."

"The point's deduction seems to have fired them up but any team you play in this division is tough. We have to take the positives from Wednesday night and take them forward into Saturday's game, we have prepared well today and we will all be ready and 100% right for the game."
