I have signed for another year and I am happy with that and looking forward to next season. I feel I didn't have the best of seasons really and I wasn't at my best often enough. So I will have to work hard and I hope to help Chesterfield back to League One. It was very disappointing not getting promotion we set off with high hopes of automatic promotion and then that disappeared and we hoped to get into the play offs and that didn't happen so we were obviously disappointed.

On the support

It difficult when the fans are chanting "Rico Out" it certainly doesn't help the players who are trying their best on the pitch. We need the fans to get behind us and hopefully next season they won't be on anyones back and they will get behind us and help us on to promotion.

On the manager

I think he's a good manger and I enjoy playing for him. I don't really understand why the fans were getting on his back because he's doing a good job. Eighth in the league is not that bad, but obviously its disappointing to miss out on both promotion and the play offs.

Strengths and weaknesses

I try and get on the front foot and win tackles and play the simple pass and to get forward and score a few goals. Some people say my passing's not the best but I think it's not as bad as some people say. It can be improved and I will be trying to improve all of my game because I have ambitions to play at a higher level as possible

On next season

We have to learn to work hard and defend better as team and hopefully we can cut out some of the individual errors which cost us points last season. It's good that the Gaffers bringing some experienced players in which will help and then we will need to get the right balance of youth and experience. I am really looking forward to next season and to playing well in every game and to becoming a dad in around a month's time.
