SPIREITES WORLD TV interviewed new players GRAEME OWENS and BRUCE DYER and they gave their thoughts on Chesterfield FC. Read the Highlights here.

Graeme Owens

"The Assistant at Middlesbrough told me about Chesterfields interest, I never had much time to think about it but I jumped at the chance. I started in Cramlington near Newcastle, I started with Cramlington Juniors and I was spotted by Middlesbrough. I made my debut this season at White Hart Lane and my family were so proud. All my mates give me stick for playing for Boro with the Newcastle connections but I don't mind."

"I'm here to play games and gain lots of experience and make sure I enjoy it. We're going to try our best here, I know the side below us a few games in hand but hopefully we'll be ok. I was pleased to get on at Dagenham and hope fully the manager will play us more. I've played in a reserve team game today (Tuesday) and it was good to get 60 or 70 mins. My dream is to be a Premiership footballer, Gareth Southgate has got us playing well and we'll be ok this season. I've played against Peter Hartley and DavidDowson in Reserve Team matches so I sort of know them."

Bruce Dyer

"I got a call from the manager asking me what the situation was, I wasn't playing for Doncaster and the clubs got potential. I've been up and down the M1 with a few clubs, Watford, Sheffield United Barnsley etc. It never worked out at Doncaster, I got a few injuriries the first time in my career really and couldn't get back in the side and the manager had his own ideas so we parted."

"I'm a wiser head these days and helping the youngsters will be good, I want to keep playing and my experience may help. A Wembley experience may hinder a younger player so an older head may help. I've been three times and lost twice and won once, twice with Crystal Palace and once with Barnsley, its not a nice feeling to lose, but I'd rather go up via the play offs than second place. I need to even up the record with Chesterfield."

"I've not played first team football all season so I need to get my fitness levels up a little, I'm a pretty fit guy anyway but I've played 90 minutes in a reserve game against Notts County and I did ok."
