Paul BoertienWell Paul a quick debut against Yeovil how was it?

It was good to play again. But obviously the result especially conceding in the last minute was disappointing. But after only returning to training on Tuesday after being out for a while, so it was good to get seventy minutes under my belt. Which should only put me in good stead for the remaining games.

You didn't expect to be out there

Yes it was a surprise. But I want to play games and help Chesterfield stay up. I thought we were about unlucky today, and possibly we should have won it and at least deserved a draw.

Chesterfield dominated the first half but didn't score

We had a couple of chances. Shawy had one and there were a couple of long range chances. But hopefully our luck will change starting against Crewe

Your first game since Boxing Day

I got injured and did my medial ligaments. I was a bit off the pace but hopefully that will come over the next couple of weeks.

What's your situation at Derby?

I am out of contract in the summer. So I will see what happens really and see if I can get a permanent deal somewhere.

Tell us about yourself?

I started at Carlisle and then signed for Derby and I have been there eight years. Derby are obviously going well and hopefully heading for the Premiership and i have had a great time there.

This season though your With Chesterfield a face a big month in April

It looks a massive month starting with Crewe. But after training with the lads on Friday and from what I saw against Yeovil, I cannot see any reason why we can't stay up.
