Chesterfield 4 Notts County 1
The Spireites climbed to the top of the North East Conference as their unbeaten run now stretches to four games in all competitions after beating a physical Notts County side at Warminster Road.
Despite being under threat from the first kick, the Spireites finally found momentum and after eight minutes came close to opening the scoring through winger Jack Waddle, but the Chesterfield number 11 was denied his first goal of the campaign by the post.
Just five minutes later and Chesterfield did open the scoring when Waddle was again denied by the County post, but fortunately Jordan Burrow was on hand to knock in from close range.

The visitors had a goal disallowed shortly after as the game was starting to shape up to be a physical encounter. Waddle was a casualty of war just before half time after picking up a head injury which resulted in Shaq McKenzie taking his place on the field.
Another Chesterfield chance and another County post struck as McKenzie couldn't do better as Waddle's replacement.
The Spireites were starting to appear the better of the two sides and this was soon backed up when Burrow was again on hand to score from close range after Toby Dipper's headed effort struck the bar.
Under 16's midfielder Joshua Scully hit a pile driver to add another to the Spireites already growing tally. Scully's first goal in Dave Bentley's side will be a memorial one to say the least as he left the County number one no chance from 30 yards.
However, this moment of excellence was met by a moment of disappointment for the Spireites just two minutes later when Dipper lost his marker allowing a free County head to beat Sam West from inside the six-yard box.
A determined Ben Watkis run late in the second half was finished with a powerful 25 yard strike to give Chesterfield their three goal advantage back, as the strong minded number 8 ran through three players before unleashing his shot.
