Over 139 years of memories will be sold off when hundreds of items of Saltergate memorabilia go under the hammer at a special auction on the pitch this Sunday 13 June 2010 from 12 noon.

Items likely to be included are club signage, corner flags, goal posts, goal nets, dug outs, dressing room items, seats, turnstiles, signed shirts, even the boardroom table, and much more. 

Entry is by catalogue priced £3 available from the Spireites Club Shop and viewing is from 9.30am until 11.30am.

Chesterfield's director of marketing Alan Stevenson said: "This unique auction is a chance for supporters to be amongst the bidders to proudly own a bit of Saltergate history."

Auctioneer is David Tate of Copelands, Chartered Surveyors, Auctioneers and Valuers, Land and Estate Managers located at Beetwell Street, Chesterfield.
