Completion of the play-offs means that League Two is now complete and reveals that the Spireites face some long journeys next season with some old favourites returning to the division after relegation from League One.

Plainmoor the longest trip next season
Although Torquay United still remains the longest journey, a round trip of 507 miles, League Two once again welcomes Southend United in deepest Essex (round trip of 364 miles, Gillingham in Kent (round trip of 382 miles) and Wycombe Wanderers in Buckinghamshire (round trip of 290 miles).

Other new teams include Blue Square champions Stevenage (round trip 272 miles) and a return for promoted Oxford United (round trip 258 miles).

Meanwhile, the shortest journey from a new side will be to relegated Stockport County (round trip of just 76 miles).

Shortest new journey to Edgeley Park
This is the same mileage as for Burton Albion and slightly shorter than the Spireites other 'local-derby' at Lincoln City (round trip 88 miles).
Shortest trip of the season will once again be the short journey to the Don Valley Stadium to take on local rivals Rotherham United who lost out to Dagenham & Redbridge in the Play-Off Final at Wembley - commiserations to them.

Shortest trip remains the Don Valley Stadium
That shortest trip conversely means that Chesterfield fans lose the long round trip of 336 miles to take on Dagenham & Redbridge now newly promoted to League One.
Rotherham's misfortune at Wembley could also be Chesterfield's gain with a cracking first local-derby against the Millers in prospect at the b2net stadium.
The fixtures for season 2010-11 are released at 9.00am Thursday 17 June and you can the news first here at www.chesterfield-fc.co.uk
