Bricks sold out for now

Posted on: Fri 07 May 2010

It's a sell-out for the bricks which are guaranteed to be placed in the b2net's Wall of Fame before the stadium officially opens this summer.

Supporters have snapped them up to secure a unique place in the history of the new b2net stadium by purchasing a special engraved brick which will be placed in the first two walls being built on the South East and South West corners of the stadium.

Commemorative bricks will go on sale again later this year for places in a further two walls being built on the North West and North East corners of the stadium but these will not be placed until next year.

CFC director of marketing Alan Stevenson said: "It's a unique opportunity to become part of the Club's history during this most exciting time as Chesterfield Football Club moves to a new home."

He added: "It will still be possible to purchase a commemorative brick later, but they will be included in the Wall of Fame after the stadium has officially opened."
