Julie Edwards and Ron Thompson of Planet Art have drawings and models relating to the heritage of the football club which they would like fans to comment on.  The initial ideas come from a previous fans consulation, which took place last November.

They will be situated outside the Spireites club shop on the day.  Community director John Croot said: "Please feel free to come over and talk to them about the project, they want to hear what fans think."

As well as working on the unique sculpture for the new stadium, Julie and Ron will be running an art outreach project, providing art workshops for the local community from March to October.  John Croot said: "Any community groups who would be interested in taking part should let Julie and Ron know,"

Julie Edwards and Ron Thompson, who can be contacted on 07906 115 979, were selected from 90 other entrants who had applied for the public art commission under the local council's Percent for Art scheme.  They have a track record of creating fine pieces of public art over many years.
