Spireites feature in ‘Enjoy The Match’ video

A new video to promote The Football League's Enjoy the Match campaign includes footage shot at Saltergate.

The initiative aims to tackle bad language and anti-social behaviour in family areas of grounds, this season all 72 Football League clubs have pledged to make matchdays even more enjoyable for families.

 

The video, shot by the 92Crew's Lee Partridge and Richard Williams, features Chesterfield Safety Control Room Staff, mascot Chester the mouse and a local fan Chris Lowton with his son , who are fully behind the campaign.

"We recognise the importance of the Enjoy the Match campaign and are delighted to help raise the continued awareness of such a great campaign," said Lee.

 

"We feel that families are at the heart of and represent the future of every Football Club.  With this in mind we would like to thank everybody that has helped out to make this such a great video". 

 

Over 5,000 fans have already given their support to Enjoy the Match through The League's online pledge, whilst footballing legends Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer, rock band Kasabian and Mayor of London Boris Johnson have recorded videos of support for the campaign.
