If there is a further deterioration in the weather there may need to be a further pitch inspection but the working assumption is that the game goes ahead.

Premiership linesman Glen Turner made the inspection on behalf of match referee Andy Hains and is hopeful that if the weather forecasts are sound the pitch should be playable on Saturday afternoon.

There is still some work to be done on spectators areas to ensure safety.

The club wishes to publicly thank all the willing volunteers who shifted tons of snow off the pitch over the last couple of days.
