The ever popular Midlands Co-op special money-off ticket deal for Chesterfield fans for last Saturday's home game against Barnet once again proved to be a real winner.
The Buy One Get One Free deal was a near sell-out and fans who purchased tickets for the DC Jones Insurance Services - Compton Street Stand were treated to a cracking match between the two promotion-chasing teams and helped boost the crowd to 3,585.
All Midlands Co-op retail outlets in the Chesterfield area reported a fantastic demand for the tickets and most sold out well before kick-off.

Chesterfield Finance director Alan Walters said: "We are always trying to encourage as many people as possible to come to Saltergate so we are delighted that there was such a good response once again from our supporters for this offer."
He added: "We are again very grateful to the Midlands Co-op for supporting the club by making this special ticket deal possible at a time when our fans are still feeling the effects of the credit crunch."
The game ended in a 1-0 win for the Spireites as substitute Scott Boden fired in a late winner to take the Blues to sixth in the League and challenging for a top three position.
Blues forward Drew Talbot was voted the sponsors' 'Coors Brewery Man of the Match' after his excellent performance against Barnet and is pictured receiving his award from Chesterfield Department Store Manager David Elliott and Midlands Co-op Member Relations Officer Tanya Noon.
The Club would once again like to thank the Midlands Co-op for their continued support and we hope everyone had an enjoyable afternoon.
