Confirmation that further signings are imminent and details are expected to be revealed later this week of upto three more players being lined up for next season.

There is also news that one of the signings is expected to be another experienced defender moving to Saltergate from a Championship side.

Last month the Spireites signed former Sheffield United captain and Welsh International defender Rob Page, former Port Vale midfielder and captain Paul Harsley, whilst midfielder Derek Niven also signed a new extended contract.
