Tommy gives pitch the thumbs up

Chesterfield assistant manager Tommy Wright has given the b2net pitch the thumbs up after paying a special visit to the Spireites new stadium. 

 

He met up with Andy Stirr, consultant groundsman for Pugh-Lewis, the sportsfield construction specialists who have installed the Spireites new pitch.

After giving the pitch a close inspection Tommy Wright said: "Last time I visited the b2net stadium at the end of the season there was nothing here, now there is lush growth and a magnificent setting for our football matches"

 

He added: "The pitch is coming on a treat and we still have a few more weeks of growth to come before the season starts."

The b2net pitch is now being cut and watered every day in preparation for the new season.
