Chesterfield FC's sister website www.b2netstadium.co.uk is currently in overdrive as eager supporters log on to literally watch the grass grow via the club's onsite webcam.

On Monday this week over 4,000 hits were recorded in just one day as interest in the Spireites new pitch starts to mount, not only in this country but from interested fans all around the world.

The pitch being prepared by local company Pugh Lewis was only seeded just over a week ago and thanks to the recent fine warm weather germanisation has now really taken hold.
