On matchdays the Midlands Co-operative Community Stand will be a family friendly environment as it will be the location for the club's family stand.  Behind the scenes there are plans for innovative community facilities that will provide for a wide range of local community activities, including health, fitness and education.

Midlands Co-operative Society Limited is the largest independent retail Society in the UK. It employs 8,000 staff at over 400 trading outlets ranging from superstores to convenience stores, supermarkets, department stores, travel shops, funeral homes, garages, post offices and petrol stations and has gross sales in excess of £800 million. In Chesterfield it has a department store with adjacent food hall, five further foodstores, three travel shops, one petrol station and three funeral homes.

Although trading principally in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, and the Greater Midlands, it also has trading outlets in surrounding counties, including, Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Staffordshire and South Yorkshire.  Head office is in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

Midlands Co-operative Society, and before that the Chesterfield and District Co-operative Society Ltd, which Midlands Co-operative Society acquired in 2001, have been great supporters of Chesterfield Football Club for many years.
