IT'S a big boost towards the Spireites new stadium plans with the proposed development for regenerating the former Demaglass site in Chesterfield, by Wilson Bowden Developments, going on display this week at a public exhibition.

The events are being held to showcase plans for the regeneration of the former Demaglass Site prior to the submission of a planning application by Wilson Bowden Developments, Tesco and Chesterfield Football Club to Chesterfield Borough Council in March.

The plans include new retail and business premises and a new 10,000 plus seater stadium for Chesterfield FC, providing a much needed new home. 

 

The proposals also include plans to relocate the existing Tesco from its current location opposite the former Demaglass site, creating a new look superstore.
