Chesterfield F.C Girls Centre of Excellence fixture's against Lincoln City on Saturday December 2nd have been switched to Ashfield School, Sutton Road, Kirkby -In -Ashfield.
The site manager at Brookfield School has declared the pitch to be unfit.
Players are now asked to meet at Ashfield School at 11 am ready for a 12.00 pm kick off.
Director Stewart Rowley was disappointed that the game had to move into Nottinghamshire " Obviously we would have preferred to play our game in Chesterfield but we have to respect the decision of the School who have to consider the damage and long term implications of playing a match in the present conditions having said that we are very grateful to Ashfield School and our partnership with F.C Interski who have again offered us their excellent facility at such short notice"
ASHFIELD SCHOOL DIRECTIONS
M1
- Leave M1 at J28 and proceed along the A38 towards Mansfield/Sutton-in-Ashfield
- You will pass the McArthur Glen Retail Outlet on the right and the Snipe Pub on the left
- As you approach what will be the fourth set of traffic lights, move over to the right hand lane, ready to filter right
- In front of you will see the Ashfield Pub on the left and the Fire Station on the right
- On turning right along the B6018 (Kirkby in Ashfield), the turning for the school is on the right immediately before the first set of traffic lights. The journey is approximately 4 miles from the motorway.
Access from the A60 Mansfield to Nottingham Road
Turn west onto the B6020 at the cross roads with traffic lights at Ravenshead.
Keep on this road crossing the A611 at traffic lights, through the centre of Kirkby-in-Ashfield crossing the B6021 at traffic lights by The Nags Head pub.
Continue over a railway bridge until you come to a T junction with a mini roundabout.
Turn right on the B6018 for Sutton-in-Ashfield.
Follow this road to the second set of pelican crossings.
Turn immediately left into the school entrance drive.
Turn right into the car park just before the boiler house.
Access from the A38 from Mansfield
Follow the A38 Sutton Bypass. Sign posted for M1 Motorway.
Follow this road to a cross roads with the B6018. The Ashfield Hotel is on the right and the Fire station on the left.
Turn left for Kirkby-in-Ashfield.
DO NOT take the first right turn into the school, the drive is one way.
Turn right just before the pelican crossing.
Turn right into the car park just before the boiler house.
