Due to the heavy rain that has swept North Derbyshire, Chesterfield F.C Girls Centre of Excellence first home match of the season due to take place on Saturday November 5th has been switched from Upper Newbold, Chesterfield, to Ashfield School in Kirkby-in-Ashfield Nottinghamshire.

Chesterfield play host to Northampton Town and matches will take place for under 12's, 14's, and 16's all kicking off at 1pm.

Directions to the venue from Junction 28 of the M1 are as follows.

• Leave M1 at J28 and proceed along the A38 towards Mansfield/Sutton-in-Ashfield
•  
• You will pass the McArthur Glen Retail Outlet on the right and the Snipe Pub on the left
•  
• As you approach what will be the fourth set of traffic lights, move over to the right hand lane, ready to filter right
•  
• In front of you will see the Ashfield Pub on the left and the Fire Station on the right
•  
• On turning right along the B6018 (Kirkby in Ashfield), the turning for the school is on the right immediately before the first set of traffic lights. The journey is approximately 4 miles from the motorway.
