Chesterfield were proud that keeper Emily Clements had been selected for England trials but were obviously hindered by her absence. Notts County took full advantage in the opening game but inspirational midfielder Stephanie Reynolds rallied the troops for the second game and were unlucky to concede a late goal against the Imps when makeshift keeper Sarah Chapman appeared to have the ball kicked out of her hands during a hectic, desperate,  and muddy goal mouth scramble.

The Spireites put there disappointment behind them in a rousing finale which saw them blast four goals past Leicester courtesy of Reynolds (2) , Clements, and Rebecca crane.
