The Derbyshire Girls Centre of Football Excellence operate the only licensed centre programme in Derbyshire and are inviting all players to take part in their annual trials.
The trials are free and accessible to all girls aged 8 to 15 and will take place at Mill Hill School Ripley
Players are asked to attend at least two of the four sessions

Dates: Thursdays June 11th, 18th, and 25th. 2009
Times: Under 10's and 12's 6.00pm to 7.30pm
(For players aged 8 to 11 on and before August 31st 2009)
Under 14's and 16's 7.30pm to 9.00pm
(For players aged 12 to 15 on and before August 31st 2009)
The sessions will take place on an all weather training surface therefore training shoes with grip are required.
The trials take place in order to identify players of outstanding ability and place them in a technical and educational programme designed to produce excellence in conjunction with personal development.
We are looking for players whom have the technique, intelligence, and personality to play at the highest level of girl's football to take part in a comprehensive 36 week programme delivered by some of the best coaches in the county and play matches on a weekly basis against other Centres including Aston Villa, Birmingham, Leicester City, Stoke City, and Wolves.
The C of E league is the only area where England Scout's operate.
Girls wishing to take part in the trials may register on the day via our Welfare officer Carol Eastwood and are asked to be kitted out with shirts, shorts, training shoes, shin pads, sun protection, and a drink.
