In the recent trials the Derbyshire Centre of Football Excellence for Girls has recruited some really good players in all age groups except Under 16.

The only Centre for girls in Derbyshire is now looking to recruit players to form a squad at 15/16s for next season and also youngsters for a new Under 10 squad.

The Centre plays weekly fixtures against other Centres including Aston Villa, Coventry City, Birmingham, and Hull City.

England Scouts attend many matches and this would be an ideal opportunity for the best players in Derbyshire to receive quality coaching and play football at the highest level.

Any girls that are interested are asked to turn up for a free training session at either of the following venues, dates, and times.

Centre manager Stewart Rowley said: "This could be the last chance this year for girls in the county to be selected to play football at the highest level and we want to make sure that any talented girls do not miss out."
