The Derbyshire & Chesterfield F.C Girls Centre of Excellence today announced details of their forthcoming trials

 

The Derbyshire Girls Centre of Football Excellence, which operates the only licensed centre in Derbyshire are inviting all players to attend "Spring Soccer Pre-Trial Specials ".

It will will provide opportunities for players aged 8-15 to meet the Centre of Excellence staff and display their skills prior to the official trials in June.

 

The events are free and accessible to all and will take place in venues North and South of the County.

 

Spring Soccer Specials

 

April 24th and May 1st at Tupton Hall School, Station New Road, Old Tupton, Chesterfield S42 6LG 6.30-8.30PM (on grass)

 

April 28th and May 12th at Lees Brook Community Sports College, Morley Road, Chaddesdon,Derby, DE21 4QX 6.30-8.30pm on grass.

 

Official Trials

 

Tupton

 

6.30-8.30pm June 19th, 26th, July 3rd, and 10th

 

Lees Brook

 

6.30-8.30 pm June 16th, 23rd, 30th, and July 7th

 

The purpose of the Centre is to identify players of outstanding ability and place them in a technical and educational programme designed to produce excellence in conjunction with personal development.

 

The Centre offer a comprehensive 36 week course which includes training twice weekly and regular games programme against other Centres including Aston Villa, Birmingham, Leicester City, Stoke City, and Wolves.

 

The C of E league is the only area where England Scout's operate.

 

The technical syllabus will be led by former England under 17 Head Coach Jane Haslam.

 

Girls wishing to take part in the events may register on the day and ensure that you are kitted out with shirts, shorts, football boots, training shoes, shin pads, sun protection, and a drink.
