United's finishing was excellent as The Spireites enjoyed plenty of the game and many chances. Two from Jon Stead, either side of a Jack Lester header, then Danny Webber made it 3-1. Jamie Ward limped off with a hamstring problem, the worst news of the night. 2000 travelling fans were in great voice and were, in the main, entertained by what they saw.
