John told Player "The disappointing thing was that we didn't hang on after taking the lead. It was an even game and they are a big awkward side . They reacted well to a bad result last week so credit to them for that. But I don't think we were really at the races in the first half. I told them that at half time. I thought second half once Dean Morgan came on we got into the game and took more care of the ball. Dean's still behind match fitness wise and he will play on Tuesday against Walsall

But once you get that goal in front you have to be mentally stronger . I didn't really see the equalising goal as it happened really quickly and I will have to look at the video. What I do remember was there didn't seem to be many people trying to stop him scoring.  But once you go one nil up you have to be stronger Bournemouth and Notts County did that last season and you need to hold on to leads to get out of the division.

With the transfer window closing on Tuesday John hinted that there will be at least one new arrival and he continued "I am trying to bring in a centre half next week it's a position I feel we need cover in. Fordy and Breck's have only trained two days this week and I think that showed.  I feel comfortable with the rest of the squad. I would like to keep Scott Griffiths he likes it here and I need to talk to Peterborough about that."
