Posted on: Tue 17 Aug 2010

John  told Player "Port Vale where the better team and had the better chances. They dictacted the game in the first half and one or two of our lads looked tired and there front two were a real handful. But overall I'm very pleased to come here and come away with a point. We might even have nicked it through Drew at the end.. Alot of teams will come here and get beat, we might not have deserved it  but I am pleased to have four points from two games. I am pleased with the players attitude and they just have to listen a bit more and they will be a better team and better players.

John then hinted there might be changes to the side away from the B2net Stadium and he continued "We have a few older players  in the team and I will be looking at that. I dont really care what people think about the teams I pick. I think we will be a handful at home but away when you are under the cosh you need energy. I think the two lads that came on gave us energy and Bowery still only a teenager and I think he's got alot of potential.

John then told Player about new arrival Dean Morgan who registration is expectedto be completed on Monday and hinted that at another new face could be arriving this week. On Dean Morgan John said "He's pacy and a wide man who can play anywhere up front to fair. I watched him four years ago and his career seems to have not really progressed since then. He's got alot of ability and takes care of the ball and hopefully he can come here and get his career going again.

Ian Morris should  be back in the squad for Hereford But Rob Page will be going to see a specialist about his achiles this week. So we need cover in that area and have a week to regroup after a hard week and be fresh for next weekend".
