Tommy Wright once again did this weeks match preview on Spireites Player and he talked about the last league game against Bournemouth and saying farewell to Saltergate this Saturday. Tommy told Player
"Obviously for a lot of Chesterfield fans it will be a memorable day and depending on how old they are they will have a lot memories of the ground. I suppose it will be sad for some of them but it's a step in the right direction and the fans will all have their memories of Saltergate which they will no doubt take to their graves.
Moving on to cover the game itself Tommy praised Bournemouth manager Eddie Howe and hopes his side can do there bit and help the supporters have a memorable last League match at Saltergate and he continued
"Eddie Howe's done a great job considering he's not really been able to bring any players in but they fully deserve their promotion after producing consistent results. You never know in football and our results have been poor and its been very disappointing for everyone concerned. Chesterfield have knocked on the door over the last few seasons but haven't managed to get through it. So there's still a chance but all we can do is win the game and hope for some lady luck..The players have had enough chances and I think its time they paid the fans back and hopefully on Saturday they will put in a performance and do there bit for a memorable day.
