A pleased Tommy Wright spoke to Spireites Player after a very entertaining 2-2 draw against Dagenham Redbridge. Tommy told player "It was a bizarre game but you have credit the players I thought they were exceptional from the first whistle to the last. We started well were bright and had the right tempo had some belief and passed the ball well. I thought all the players were terrific and if we can play like that in the remaining five games we will pick up a lot of points. If we hadn't got anything from the game today it would have been unjust."

On going two goals down Tommy told Player "I thought theirs was a dubious penalty there was a massive foul on Kevin Austin. One of there lads had a hold of Kev and wasn't even looking at the ball. It was like watching Italian football. Mark did jump all over there player which was a foul but the ball shouldn't have gone that far it should have been a free kick for us.

On Danny Green's wonder free kick that was applauded all round the ground which gave the Daggers a two goal lead Tommy commented "Their second goal was a World Cup goal and you have to hold your hands it was a wonderful goal"

The Spireites battled back and had an great strike of their own when Ishmel Demontagnac pulled a goal back with a twenty yarder and Tommy continued "Ishmel's a talented player whose lost his way a bit but we have watched him on numerous occasions and on his day he's got great ability"

Finally Tommy looked ahead to Tuesday nights trip to Cleethorpes and he said  "We have watched Grimsby a couple of times and we think they are a decent side. They haven't had much luck this season, but if we can play like we did today we will cause them a lot of problems. We have to take one game at time and if we win on Tuesday it could change it all around again. We have to aim to have something to play for in the last match against Bournemouth"
