Mark: It’s just the type of game we need

Mark Crossley did the honours once again with the Spireites player pregame interview this time ahead of the Spireites clash against league leaders Rochdale.

Mark told Player "Rochdale are a very good team and they have been exceptional this season. They are a good footballing team and are almost there, and hopefully they will play with a lot of freedom which hopefully will suit us. So it's just the type of game we need to raise our game against one of the teams who are right up there. Our last three games have been disappointing and we have only picked up one point out of the last three games. But we are still in there in fifth position and we have already proven we can beat them after winning up there which shows there's not a lot in the league. Realistically though Rochdale are there and Notts County aren't far away either, which really only leaves one automatic place left and we are still in with a shout of that especially of we can beat Rochdale.

A couple of plusses for the Spireites are that both Jack Lester and Derek Niven are both included in the Spireites squad for the game.

Mark concluded the interview by saying "We have two games coming up so there will be changes and Jack Lester will probably feature at some point which should give us a lift. Derek Niven also made a remarkable recovery and he's also back into contention for the game."
