Mark: It’s all about having the bottle

Posted on: Tue 30 Mar 2010

Mark Crossley did this weeks preview ahead of Hereford's visit to Saltergate and he told Spireites Player "It's still very tight at the top and I watched Macclesfield against Rotherham the other night and to be fair they got away with it and Macclesfield could have won the game. It's all about having the bottle if we take three points on Saturday we will be in a favourable position."

Mark then talked about Hereford and the loan window closing and he continued  "When we played them earlier in the season I thought they were a good team. But they are very unpredictable and have been languishing in the lower part of the table. But we have to take the game to them and we need to win the game. There are still twenty seven points to play for and if we can win six I think we could get an automatic place. If we win five we have a chance of an automatic spot but that should seal a play off spot maybe Four will do that also .But its all about the players and we have nine cup finals and do the players have the bottle to do it when they cross that white line.  We are all desperate now for that extra little push. We are happy with what we have got and think we have the players to take us hopefully into the top three. Jack's about a week away and Derek Niven trained again today"
