Tommy Wright spoke to Spireites Player after seeing Burton fight back in injury time to share the points at the Pirelli Stadium

Tommy told Player "The players showed a lot of endeavour but I thought our quality could have been better. What was a bit disappointing that we crossed the ball when we should have kept the ball in the corner in the last few minutes. We are also a bit miffed about where the referee got the five minutes from I just don't know where he got that from."

On Burton's goals Tommy commented "Both goals we conceded were disappointing. We have had a good defensive record recently up until the Port Vale game. We had chances to clear for the first goal. We should have cleared the ball and there was no one near the lad when he shoots.  Again for the second goal it's was a pretty aimless ball into the box and we were all over the place. We have got to defend better than that especially if we want to get promoted"

Burton of course also missed a late controversially awarded penalty and Tommy told Player "The cross was that high, the man was never going to head the ball in a million years. Both players seemed to be grappling a bit with each other but the ball was ten feet in the air and he had no chance of heading the ball. It's just frustrating some of the decisions and leaves you scratching your head at times. And I thought it was a very poor decision but Tommy made a good save."

Simon Whaley missed the game after taking a knock on his knee in training and new loan man Ishmel Demontagnac made an impressive debut after coming  into the side and Tommy continued "I thought he did very well on his debut. He's not played much first team football and the step up from reserve team football can be difficult. He will get better with more games and he looked a threat when he had the ball and in my opinion he had a very good debut before he went off with cramp."

Finally Tommy looked ahead to next weekend game against Hereford and he concluded the interview by saying "Everybody playing for something so it will be tough and there will be a lot of tension about and a famous manger said its "squeaky bum time" . But its how we deal with that tension and how we react to that mentally. Finally I would like to thank our supporters were great today and backed the players all the way.  We need everyone pulling together and with the help of the supporters I am sure we will succeed"
