Mark Crossley once again did this week's Spireite Player big match preview ahead of what could be a vital game for the Spireites against Port Vale.
Mark told Player "Port Vale have picked up well though they can be a bit erratic but we know they will be organised and they will make it difficult for us. They are a good team and I thought we were a little lucky to come home with the points on our recent visit to Vale Park."
Moving on to cover team news and the Spireites run in which will cover the Clubs last few games at Saltergate Mark said "With eleven games to go if we win our home games we will be in with a really good shout. But we really need the fans behind us and to be patient because if they don't does effects the players. So far nobody's really mentioned Chesterfield which is good and we are still in there but it will go right down to the wire. We are taking it one game at a time and whether we get an automatic spot or go into the play offs we will need the supporters to keep right behind us because we all want to go in the same direction and get promotion. I hope the players are looking at the league table and thinking if we win this we could go there because that shows they care and that they are brave enough to achieve what we all want to achieve. So to some extent they have to show bottle and desire to both need and want it enough."
